Details

The Midwest Industries Combat Rail AR-15 Handguard is 100% made in America out of 6061-T6 aluminum and is type 3 hard coat anodized black. This free float handguard is 9.25” long and weighs in at 8 ounces with the 4140 steel barrel nut installed. Torque the barrel nut and the handguard slips right over and is tightened down against the barrel nut without any timing required making installation a breeze. The indexing tabs keep the handguard secure against the receiver to prevent rotation while firing. In addition to the full length picatinny top rail, the Combat Handguard features M-LOK slots on seven sides for plenty of room for customization to set your rifle up exactly how you want without the need of heavy picatinny rails that won’t get used. This M-LOK handguard also features two rear mount anti-rotation QD sling swivel slots.

MIDWEST INDUSTRIES COMBAT RAIL M-LOK HANDGUARD BLACK - 9.25"

I assembled an LR a couple months ago, and ordered this handguard for my LR by mistake. Parts were pretty scarce and I saw the length I wanted, which seemed to be one of the rarer lengths, and I jumped on it. I knew AR and LR handguards were not interchangeable but I completely missed it. Handguard arrived fast, just like all of my past PA orders. Looked BEAUTIFUL. Realized what I had done and PA issued a return immediately no problems. But I like the look and feel so much I'm just going to keep it and build an AR up around it and present it to my wife this Christmas. Thank you MIDWEST INDUSTRIES! MADE IN U.S.A. and you can damn sure tell it! And thank you PA Customer Service for being so awesome.

Awesome hand guard for a good price

i've used 3 Midwest hand guards and think they make a great product. Installation is straight forward and secure. Including the barrel nut wrench is a nice extra.. Will look at them for my next build. As always it was a pleasure to do business with Primary Arms

I really, really like this. I put this on my pistol build with a 10" barrel and the match-up was perfect. Barrel threads were the only thing sticking out of the guard. Mount was super easy. 40 ft-lbs torque as per directions required no shims or alignment issues with the nut and the gas tube. The mounting system is very simple and locks up without any weird alignment / timing issues. I previously used the Aero Precision ATLAS R-One rail and like the MI combat rail better. It was less time consuming in comparison to the R-One. I would go with MI again for another build for sure.

Excellent value and fit

I installed this on a mid length rifle with an A2 front sight. It fits well and seems tough so far. As always PA shipped it fast and had a great price!
