Hey Guys & Gals... I was hoping I could edit the 1st review I did above but I couldn't.
I just wanted to let you all know, IF You are considering Fixed Sights, weather BOTH Front & Rear or just 1 or the other. I bought Both Front & Rear ON Sale for 95 Bucks! Thank You, Thank You, Thank You to PRIMARY ARMS! THANK YOU!!!
FWIW: I'll take these over Daniel Defense any day of the week. Super Clean and WORTH Every single penny even at Primary Arms regular prices!
Nice clean sight, but the mounting screw is the weak point
by Christopher -
This is nice and low profile for a fixed sight. The adjustments are easy after you oil the detent (it's at the bottom or 6 o'clock of the windage adjustment wheel). The weak point of the mount is the mounting screw. It's a standard slotted screw head. I have 3 gunsmith bit sets and none of them are fat enough to fully fill the slot. I was able to get it to torque to their 35 in-lb spec, but not without some damage to the screw slot and some scratching. I wish Midwest Industries would include the bit or change this to a torx or allen head screw. I wouldn't recommend this if you like to take stuff off a lot.
