The Midwest Industries Side Folding Adapter is designed for attaching a Gear Head Works Tailhook to any of your favorite firearms like an AK, CZ Scorpion EVO, or anything else with a vertical picatinny rail on the rear of the receiver. This Side folding adapter is constructed from heavy duty 4140 steel with a full length locking lug for maximum strength and a Manganese Phosphate finish. The steel clamp with large surface engagement securely locks the stock in both the folded and extended position and can be configured for either right or left side folding. The aluminum beam is hardcoat anodized and skeletonized to reduce weight.

This side fold brace is excellent quality piece of equipment. It looks like "factory" component rather than an ad on aftermarket item. Finish is excellent, lock up is solid. I installed on a CZ Bren and put the tailhook on the end. Looks and works real nice.

Put this on the back of my Keltec CP33 (with use of an adapter). Looks EXCELLENT! Finished it out with a Tailhook aluminum brace. Again, looks EXCELLENT!

Great design. Very solid, does not close unintentionally. Steel hinge is a little heavy but that's why it's so solid with zero flex. I wrapped it with paranoid for a more comfortable cheek weld.
