Hard to fold closed but quick fix

The tube is great for carrying NFA paperwork, though the stock is difficult to fold closed due to the tightness of the factory spring. However, in less than 5 minutes I easily replaced the factory spring with a spring for an an AR-15 forward assist. The stock still locks up tight and now it also opens and closes easily.
The Best Sig Style AR tube folder out there

MI products have always been exceptional quality. This side folder Buffer tube is no different. It is built like a tank (folding and locking mechanism are made from steel and the tube itself is solid aluminum up until the storage cap. The tube is mil spec and fits an SBA 3 brace perfectly. The tube is held onto folding mechanism with two screws so that you can orient the tube and folder to fold left or right when you attach it to the Sig type rail. It is heavy, but it is very good at balancing the front heavy Weapons like the Ruger PCC charger or Cz Scorpion Evo (to a lesser extent). The lockup on the folder is very tight as well and has not loosened so far under firing. Buy with confidence!
Great option to put a brace on an AK pistol

The Midwest Industries side folding tube is a perfect option for adding a buffer tube brace to an AK pistol. These are so much nicer in fit and finish than most of the SB Tactical folding options, and the price (especially when on sale) is a lot more quality for the money. The MI knuckle is much larger and more robust than the SB one. To use with a brace and maintain pistol length of pull, I ordered the SB Tactical Length of Pull Limiter plugs.
Perfect for my need

A little on the heavy side, but you sure won't be worrying about durability. Locks up solid in the open position, and has a very positive detent to hold it in the folded position. The storage compartment is ok; dunno what I'll put in it, if anything.
Great for AKs

Midwest makes great products. This stock tube can fold either left or right and comes with thread lock for you. It fits rifle stocks not pistol braces. Primary Arms has the best price and fastest shipping.
