The Midwest Industries Slim Line is a 12.625-inch free float M-LOK handguard machined from 6061 aluminum with Type III hardcoat anodize, featuring a MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny top rail, three sides of M-LOK, MI's patented 4140 heat-treated torque plate, two integral anti-rotation QD sling sockets, and a 4140 heat-treated barrel nut.

The super slim 1.5-inch outside diameter and 1.3-inch inside diameter deliver one of the smallest grip profiles available in a free-float handguard, making the Slim Line well suited for shooters who run a C-clamp grip and want minimal material between the hand and the bore. MI's patented 4140 heat-treated torque plate prevents forward movement of the handguard after installation, maintaining the rigid, stable fit that a free-float design requires for consistent accuracy. The 4140 heat-treated barrel nut provides the thread engagement strength to maintain proper torque through the handguard's service life without risk of loosening under recoil. Three sides of M-LOK provide accessory mounting at the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions, with a 5-slot polymer M-LOK rail included.
