Midwest Industries Two-Piece Mid-Length Extended Free Float M-LOK Handguard is an excellent option for replacing factory-supplied AR-15 or M4 carbine handguards. The two-piece full-length handguard is constructed from 6061 aluminum with a hardcoat anodized finish, so it's lightweight while still offering solid lock up. The monolithic continuous top rail offers flexibility in placement when attaching accessories. The handguard is designed with 5 anti-rotation QD sockets for push-button swivels and extends past the front sight tower for more space to mount accessories.

Arguably the best free-float handguard for mid-length FSB builds

This is the only Midwest Industries handguard I own but it probably won't be the last. I love Centurion Arms and their handguards and their mid-length cut-out rail has a better feel in the hand but they are almost impossible to find in stock. This Midwest Industries handguard is readily available and often on sale at a discounted price. It also seems to have a little more clearance for the sling attachment ears making it easier to fit without modification. Just makes it a no-brainer.
