I do what SOTAR says

Instead of doing things like a noob, buy this fixture to properly clock your tubes and have some pride of work. It's quick and easy to use. Chuck the lower in a bevblock with this and torque the castle nut. All is good.
Great tool for installing/staking castle nuts
by Vern -
I purchased the NCSTAR VISM on sale at primary arms to help build an Anderson AR lower using a BCM LPK. The vice block held the buffer tube in the correct position while I torqued the castle nut using a Magpul AR wrench and torque wrench. I used aero shell lube on the threads and torqued to 40ft-lbs. I then kept the lower in the vise block to stake the end plate into the castle nut.
