The Next Level Armament Upper Receiver Reaction Rod is a one-piece bar that inserts through an AR-15 upper into the barrel extension to create a rigid reaction point for torque operations. It is intended for installing or torquing barrel nuts, attaching muzzle devices, and fitting handguards so torque is transmitted to the barrel extension rather than the upper receiver, reducing the chance of deformation or clamp marks. Machined from solid steel and finished with a nitride coating, the rod delivers increased surface hardness, improved wear and corrosion resistance, and axial stiffness while maintaining straightness for consistent indexing.
