The Nightforce NX8 1-8x24mm FFP is a compact, lightweight LPVO built around the FC-DMx reticle — first focal plane with an illuminated center dot and segmented outer circle, daylight-bright external illumination adjustment, capped 0.2 MRAD elevation, 30 MIL total elevation and windage, fixed 125m parallax, and a complete accessory package, at 17.3 oz and 8.7 inches in a 30mm tube.

The Nightforce NX8 C654 is a 1-8x first focal plane LPVO with a 24mm objective, 30mm tube, FC-DMx reticle with red DigIllum illumination, 0.2 MRAD click value, 30 MIL total elevation, 30 MIL total windage, capped windage turret, fixed 125m parallax, 3.70-inch eye relief, and exit pupil of 7.9mm at 1x / 3.0mm at 8x. Length: 8.7 inches. Weight: 17.3 oz. Battery: CR2032. Includes rubber lens cover, cleaning cloth, multi-tool, power throw lever, stickers, and owner's manual.

The FC-DMx reticle is designed to serve both ends of the LPVO's magnification range without compromise — the illuminated center dot is small enough for precise aiming at 8x while the surrounding segmented circle provides a fast CQB aiming reference at 1x with both eyes open, and the outer reticle's holdoff points and ranging features remain functional at any magnification because the reticle is first focal plane. Fixed 125m parallax eliminates the parallax adjustment knob that adds weight and complexity to variable-parallax designs — appropriate for an LPVO where the primary use cases (CQB to mid-range) fall within the range where fixed parallax introduces no meaningful aiming error. At 17.3 oz and 8.7 inches the NX8 1-8x is among the lightest and most compact scopes in its magnification class, and the 30mm tube keeps mount selection broad. The 0.2 MRAD click value provides adjustment resolution appropriate for an LPVO's typical use envelope. Daylight-bright illumination with external adjustment allows brightness changes without removing the shooting eye from the scope.

Magnification: 1-8x. Objective: 24mm. Tube: 30mm. Focal plane: first. Reticle: FC-DMx, red illumination, external brightness adjustment. Click value: 0.2 MRAD. Elevation: 30 MIL total, capped. Windage: 30 MIL total, capped. Parallax: fixed 125m. Eye relief: 3.70 inches. Exit pupil: 7.9mm (1x) / 3.0mm (8x). Length: 8.7 inches. Weight: 17.3 oz. Battery: CR2032. Includes: rubber lens cover, cleaning cloth, multi-tool, power throw lever, stickers, owner's manual.

FC-DMx serves both ends of the magnification range — illuminated center dot for precision at 8x, segmented circle for CQB acquisition at 1x, FFP subtensions accurate at every setting. Fixed 125m parallax eliminates adjustment complexity for LPVO use cases. 17.3 oz and 8.7 inches among the lightest and most compact in the 1-8x class. Daylight-bright external illumination adjustment.

The right LPVO for shooters who want Nightforce glass and FC-DMx reticle performance in a lightweight, compact 30mm package — 1-8x FFP, 17.3 oz, 8.7 inches, complete accessory kit included.
