The Nighthawk Custom 1911 EVERLAST Recoil System is a premium upgrade for your .45 ACP 1911 Government pistol. This FM Series recoil system is specifically designed to handle consistent use and abuse. The Nighthawk Custom/Bob Marvel Everlast Recoil System offers strength and longevity that exceeds economy-grade parts improving the reliability of your pistol. It is Fully Machined™ from 416 stainless steel billet and uses a flat wire recoil spring, special guide rod, and plug that allows you to put a minimum of 15,000 rounds through your 1911 before changing recoil springs. 

There are no threads in the one-piece guide rod to work loose and compromise your firearm. The guide rod offers a beveled backside to prevent contact with the lower lugs. The recoil system ensures less muzzle flip by maintaining a consistent amount of resistance all the way through the cycle.
