The Noveske Gen 4 N4 Light Afghan upper receiver is a complete, high-performance upper for your next AR-15 build. Built around a lightweight, 14.5-inch Cold Hammer Forged barrel with a 1:7 twist, it delivers excellent accuracy for 5.56 NATO ammunition. The mid-length gas system ensures smooth operation, while the pinned Noveske gas block and M4 barrel extension with extended feed ramps enhance reliability. To meet legal barrel length requirements, a Noveske Pig Pen suppressor compatible muzzle device is permanently pinned and welded.

The upper receiver itself is a Noveske Gen 4 machined billet receiver made from 7075-T6 aluminum. Featuring a hardcoat anodized base with a durable Armor Black Cerakote finish, it boasts extended feed ramps. Mil-Spec controls include a black nitride Noveske marked forward assist and a Noveske Love Handle ambidextrous charging handle for easy manipulation.

Grade 8 gas key bolts are properly staked for maximum reliability, while the phosphate bolt is constructed from MPI-tested Carpenter 158 steel for lasting performance. Completing the package is a lightweight, American-made 4th Gen NSR-13.5" free-float handguard with M-LOK slots at 45-degree intervals for versatile accessory mounting.
