Details

The Odin Works XMR 2 Extended Magazine Release is larger than a MIL-SPEC button making it easily accessible by all shapes and sizes of hands and fingers. Release the magazine without changing grip or position while contoured texturing ensures a superior grip. Machined from billet 6061 aluminum, the XMR 2 features ODIN boomerang cuts. Installation is simple and compatible with both AR-15 and AR-10 lower receivers.

NOTE: Compatible with Magpul B.A.D. Lever. Some modification required for use with anti-rotation pins.

Nice Mag Release

I like the color, and the design, easy to install. The only problem is, if you have something like the KNS ant-walk pins they wont work. When you go to push the mag release in it hits the rail on the pin.

Great item if you don't want Anti-rotation pins

I ordered this for a new AR pistol build. It worked perfectly until I installed anti-rotation pins. The XMR 2 will not have enough clearance with any anti-rotation pin setup. The Odin Works XMR 1 style will work. This is not the fault of the product in any way as it worked flawlessly before I installed the new pins. I still highly recommend either the XMR 1 or 2 for any builds.

This mag release works really well, but it has more play than i would like when there is no mag in the gun. When the mag is the gun the play is reduced but not as much as I would like. Overall it is a good addon to my weapon.

Fitting issue

This is the second extended mag release that I have gotten to place in 2 high end builds I've done with billet lowers. The fit is very sloppy, and has rotation slop in the button after putting it in. Still functions fine and looks great, but the fitment is poor. Great looking product to dress up build, but lacks a professional fit in billet lowers.
