I own 3 different Olights, and they all work flawlessly. The PL-3R is a great handgun light for both full-size and even some compact models. I run a PL-3R on a Beretta 92XI and another on an AR-15 with a pressure switch. They’re very bright, durable, lightweight, and do well in dust, rain, or snow. They’re easy to operate, and the light levels can be change quickly on the fly. They are slightly lighter in weight than a Streamlight TLR-1 or TLR-1 HL, which weigh 4.32oz with batteries. The PL-3R weights 3.77oz, which doesn’t sound like a huge difference, but it is definitely noticeable. This light is a fraction of the price of my Surefires and Streamlights, but still functions on par with them all, or better. Not to mention the fact that this light doesn’t need battery changes. You absolutely can’t go wrong with this light!

I recently purchased the Olight PL-3R Valkyrie weapon light and like other Olight products, it did not fail to please. I like the ease in which you can recharge the battery without removing the light from the weapon. It is also very bright and with 1500 lumens, one has no trouble seeing and identifying a target/threat. I will definitely purchase more Olight products in the future. Thanks again Primary Arms!
The sun on my handgun

Just got and mounted to my duty pistol and I tell you. It’s brighter than my TLR-1 HL and appears to have better range. Fits my Safariland 6360 RDS holster the same as my TLR1 which is nice.
