A3 refers to the flat-top Picatinny rail configuration standard on M4/M16A4-pattern rifles since the mid-1990s, and it remains the universal mounting platform for scopes, red dots, and other top-rail accessories. The receiver is machined from 7075-T6 aluminum, the alloy specified in the mil-spec Technical Data Package for AR-15 upper receivers, rather than the softer 6061 sometimes used in budget receivers.

Hardcoat anodize (Type III) provides a hard, wear-resistant surface that protects the receiver at the barrel extension interface, takedown pin holes, and charging handle track, and .250 mil-spec takedown holes ensure compatibility with any standard AR-15 lower. All machining is performed in the United States with no imported components.
