Details

Effective compensation while also masking muzzle flash has always been a tall order for a muzzle device. The Enhanced Flash Arresting Brake from Precision Armament has improved upon the AFAB in both of those roles with a uniquely designed complex of internal passageways that diffuse and cool the propellant gasses and mitigate muzzle flash, while also directing those gasses in such a way as to keep your muzzle flat in rapid fire strings on barrels as short as 10". Designed for battlefield performance, the EFAB also features a fully closed bottom to also minimize dust signature when firing from the prone position.

Note:Manufacturer warns users to not utilize crush washers for installation of this muzzle brake.

Best Muzzle Device for Unsuppressed use

Really impressed with this muzzle device. Wanted a device that provided decent compensation and recoil reduction, along with acceptable flash suppression, and the EFAB delivered. The compensation and recoil reduction are perfect, it gives off minimal concussion and blast, and to top it all off, the flash suppression is noticeably better than an A2 birdcage. If you don't need QD suppressor capability, really hard to beat this option.

the best hybrid device

it is expensive and you need to use proprietary shims to time it but despite the cost it does everything well. on my 10.3 it tames the concussion that is associated with shorter barrels. concussion is lower than with an a2 as well as better flash suppression, recoil reduction and less muzzle rise. imo it excels with shorter barrels (precision armament even states it was intended to) but even longer barrels it works very well. compared to some other hybrid brake flashcomps like the VG6 epsilon or lantac dragon for example (which both are also very very good muzzle devices) this is better. it is far quieter, recoil reduction is on par, muzzle rise reduction is a bit better and flash suppression is much better. if youre looking for a do all device and you can swing the cost, this is it. it is the best hybrid device for any barrel length.

Awesome Brake

I love the style and fit of this brake. Everyone says 556 has no recoil... well put this bad rabbit on your barrel and your 556 will practically shoot like 22.
