Capable of reducing felt recoil by up to 75%, the well designed M4-72 muzzle brake features a closed bottom to minimize dust signature when firing from prone. Each M4-72 is precision machined from high strength stainless steel, and is even compatible with most suppressors or blast diverters compatible with A2 flash hiders.
Note:Manufacturer warns users to not utilize crush washers for installation of this muzzle brake.

Great muzzle brake from Precision Armament

I have used this muzzle brake with great success. It reduced the recoil significantly on a 308 bolt action for better follow-up shots.
There is one caveat which is that it has a 60° blast back zone so you'll feel the concussive blast to a small degree.
DO use the shim washers that Precision Armament has for proper clearance of the bores.
You'll be very satisfied with this muzzle brake's performance as my experience has been great.
Performed wonders on my Zastava .308 M77

I'm not afraid of heavy recoil but prefer to tame it when possible. I purchased the Precision Armament M4-72 for my Zastava M77 chambered in .308 Winchester / 7.62 x 51 NATO. It is super easy to install and there is truly a noticeable reduction in recoil. I appreciate the two spring washers Precision provides. Another major online retailer sells them for $3 apiece. I chose this compensator/muzzle brake because of good online reviews across the board. I'm not made of money but I won't skimp if I believe I'm getting my money's worth. IMHO, this compensator is definitely worth the money.
Not a great choice for a first full build

Bought this for my first .308 build. I’ve never messed with anything other than a birdcage. Was a little disappointed when I got everything together just to open this up and have no washers of any kind in the box. Now I get to wait another week for the accupoint kit to come in the mail just to attach it. Can’t speak to performance yet but not a great first impression not even having a way to attach to my barell included.

I wasn't expecting this to mitigate recoil as well as it does. My AK barely has any recoil now.
