To make sure that the mount nut is fully tightened, turn the nut clockwise until resistance is encountered. After that, turn another 1/2 turn. If a torque wrench is being used, it is recommended no more than 35-40 in-lbs.

1” Delux PA mount

Bought it a scope a few years back, but installed it last year on 6.5 Grendel. Today I took it off so I could put it on a different rifle. When tried to install it, one of the screws slip it’s thread at less than 20in/lb and wouldn’t tie nor untie, basically stuck; the other one broke at 20-22 in/lb pressure. So, now, my rifle is non-operational due to a stuck and loose scope mount. The quality of the mount screws is probably questionable. I am disappointed, really expected a better quality product from PA.

Junk hardware

I picked this mount up along with an slx 1-8 lpvo during the blemish/open box sale. I am trying to mount the lpvo and when I pull the cap screws they're kinda rusty on the threads. Ok, no big deal, clean them up and good to go. I then try to mount the scope mount onto my rifle. I check the packaging and the torque spec says no more than 40-55 in/lbs. I set my torque wrench to 45 lbs and it stripped the mounting bolts. I understand this isn't a high dollar mount, but at least include decent mounting hardware. Now I have to figure out how to remove this mount from my rifle. I hope this isn't foreshadowing the quality of the lpvo.

Great mount for the money. Solid lockup on the rail and scope, easy to torque to spec without shifting the optic. Comes free using MRGNG'S code with any PA scope. Overall very happy with this mount.

Not Good For AR-10

I bought this mount for my PSA AR-10 308 with PA 18x50mm FFP scope. I mounted according to torque specs 15 inch lbs and screws with blue thread locker. The mount moves and does not hold zero. I suspect it really is not made for the AR-10 platform.
This mount will probably work for AR-15 or smaller caliber. I would not trust it with higher caliber rifles.

This is an extremely ridged yet relatively light weight option. Holds zero perfectly. You can’t go wrong with this mount.
