The Primary Arms SLx 1-10x28 Rifle Scope takes what is popular about low power variable optics and steps it up a notch to a larger magnification range without making sacrifices common with more traditional 10x optics. Now it comes with the popular Nova reticle that offers Red Dot Bright® illumination no matter the lighting conditions. This 1-10x LPVO boasts a generous 3.2 - 3.5 inches of eye relief allowing you to easily set this scope up on your rifle of choice and still features a great field of view throughout the magnification range. With the addition of an integrated magnification lever, you can quickly and easily go from a true 1x sight picture all the way up to 10x magnification for those longer distance precision shots or simply for better target identification. This is truly a versatile optic that can do it all from close quarters to long range while still only weighing 19.1 ounces at 10.5 inches long. Just like the other optics, this scope is protected by the Primary Arms Lifetime Warranty. If a defect due to materials or workmanship, or even normal wear and tear, has caused your product to malfunction, Primary Arms will either repair or replace your product.

An absolute gem of a scope

I have a Vortex, Arken and two other PA scopes. Minus well just stick with PA. This scope is clearly a quality level above the others and more in line with my 1X SLX prism quality. That clarity. This has it. Great eye box. Online reviews had me worried. The shadowing is also minimal. An absolute gem of a scope. Don’t even look for another scope. Get this one. Be happy and end the horror of looking for the right scope. This be the one.
fantastic scope for the price

I prefer SFP scopes I'm just a range guy but for the price it's perfect for my needs on AR-10 308 WIN rifle. The autolive battery is worth the extra money too

Fantastic brightness and image clarity! The bright red dot remains visible even on a sunny day without obstructing aiming or target tracking. The maximum 10x magnification works great!
I highly recommend this model for its quality and reticle design.
Excellent scope

I bought this with some reservation, having not been a fan of a few of PA’s scopes I handled in their showroom in Houston. They have overcome all my complaints with this model: the reticle is uncluttered and the illuminated pinpoint dot is fast to pick up and small enough for precise shooting.
I put this on a Ruger American Ranch Gen2 in 5.56 and was concerned that the limited rail length would make it hard to get propper eye relief, which IS very limited in this scope, but it works fine. The perfect version of this scope would be lighter, but comparable scopes are only 3-4 oz lighter and most cost >$2K. I will happily live with that extra few oz and buy a whole new gun wit the diff

This is a great LPVO. I love the Nova reticle.. One thing it could use is the turrets and hash marks like the 1-6 nova I own, but not a big deal.. glass is really clear on all magnifications.. Mounted it on my Aero Precision M5 16" .308 AR-10... Good job Primary Arms !!
Coyote Hunting 25-200Yards

So, as we all know... the SLx 1-6x24 Nova has been the standard for the red dot bright LPVO with the Gen4. When I saw that they now make the exact same Nova illumination in the 1-10x28, it was time to pull the trigger on a 1-10x LPVO, but with any 1-10x I was abit hesitant at first... but let me tell you, I am amazed at how clear this is out to 200 yards on 10x.
Now... understand that this is for my dedicated Coyote setup out to 200 yards max, but also I have a heavy brush/timber area that I need to dial it back on and this 1x is running amazing.
The red dot illumination helps when the reticle fades in the sun/tree line, which is why I wanted the Nova, but i needed more then 6x for target identification in dim light.
if you are wanting something for the same reasons as I did, do not hesitate, the glass is actually super clear.
I will get some time under my belt this coming weekend, and take some photos/video, maybe even a YouTube video, to truly show how nice this is.
