The SLx 3x MicroPrism is an all-new advanced optical system that combines the compact, lightweight size of a microdot with the durability and precision of a 3x magnified optic. The SLx 3x MicroPrism offers 13 illumination settings with AutoLive® motion-sensing on/off technology and multiple night vision compatibility options.
Weighing under 8oz, the SLx 3x MicroPrism is smaller and lighter than many red dot sights and features crystal-clear glass with 3x magnification for improved precision at distance. Even in close-quarters, the optic’s wide field-of-view and forgiving eye relief make it easy to snap on target.
Because the SLx 3x MicroPrism uses an etched reticle with adjustable diopter, the user will always have a clear, crisp reticle image, even if they have severe astigmatism. When set to max illumination, the MicroPrism reticle is fully daylight bright. For low-light, this optic offers 3 different NV-compatible settings, accommodating any ambient light level. Paired with the AutoLive® motion-sensing illumination technology, this optic provides an exceptionally long runtime at any brightness setting.
This package also includes the new ruggedized mounting system with industry standard mini-prism footprint, guaranteeing reliability and zero retention through heavy use and adverse conditions. Out of the box, this mount can be set for 8 different mounting heights and configurations, ensuring compatibility with any rifle system.

The ACSS® Griffin X MIL reticle is part of the patented ACSS Reticle series.
The Advanced Combined Sighting System (ACSS®) is a high-performance reticle solution to the challenges of modern marksmanship, distilling complex mathematics into intuitive holdovers that enhance your speed and precision. Each ACSS reticle is specially designed to outperform in real-world applications, incorporating a mix of tools to deliver instant firing solutions. These tools may include ballistic drop compensation, auto-ranging stadia, wind holds, moving target leads, or an infinitely-precise center chevron.
More specifically, the ACSS Griffin X MIL reticle is a compact MIL-based reticle with a comprehensive toolset for ranging and engaging targets at variable distances. This reticle features a full MIL grid, which offers 10 MILs of elevation and up to 4 MILs of windage on each side. The 5th and 10th MIL feature barbell-shaped brackets for quick reference while aiming.

Good 3X Scope for the money

Overall, I am happy with the product. Two things I would like to see improved: It is very hard to adjust the Illumination Brightness Knob, and it would be nice if the lens covers could be secured.

Almost perfect

A great optic with a very nice reticle. Clear glass and easy to zero as well. My only warning is for those unaware: this is a fixed optic, meaning you cannot adjust the "zoom", for us with astigmatism, this is great, etched reticle is clear and when needed the brightness is nice enough. Only real issue I'd say is the eye relief is a little bit unforgiving, for smaller calibers this is great but I don't recommend it for .308 or 7.62. That being said, awesome optic. Easily 7/10.
Better than BDC

I was worried about being able to see the mil recital but it's the perfect size.
Takes a little getting use to for CQB with it being a 3X but with a bit of practice, it's doable. Yes, the donut of death is blurry at 5-10 yards but it's still usable.
The glass quality and adjustments are what I would expect from PA but the real star of the show is the mil grid.
The problem with BDC is it's only accurate with one bullet at one muzzle velocity. Once you understand the mil system you can use it with any caliber, any bullet, at any velocity. That's why our snipers use it.
Now if I could just get it with green illumination...
Great little scope

Love this! First of all I have a stigmatism, and with red dots I tend to see a squiggly line vs a dot. With this scope, I don't have that issue. The glass is crisp. The mount is secure and the scope is relatively quick. I was a bit worried when I purchased it that the Christmas tree may be too prominent obscuring the view, but the Christmas Tree is a tad lighter so it's there if I need it (e.g. changing loads or using a suppressor) and not in the way when I don't. It reminds me a lot of my ACOG, but much lighter (physically and on the pocketbook). So far, very happy with this purchase.
