The flagship Gen II 1-6x24 is a tough act to follow, so Primary Arms worked hard to make incremental but real improvements. The Gen III is 18mm shorter (10.04in long), weighs 1.88 ounces less (16.9 oz. total), and has an additional 10 MOA of internal adjustment compared to the older model. The ACSS® reticle has also been improved, now featuring a chevron center aiming point rather than a dot.
Partial red reticle illumination is provided by a single (included) CR2032 battery, and a spare battery is included inside the windage turret cap. A total of 11 settings take the reticle all the way up to daylight bright. All lenses are fully multicoated for maximum light transmission and the 6063 aluminum body is Type II hard anodized in matte black.

Will this work for 458 SOCOM?
Silver Line 1-6x

I do not have this scope in my possession as of right now due to having to send it back to the illumination not working. However before sending it back, I did get the opportunity to looks through it at different distances and I have to say the glass is extremely clear! The LVPO is also light weight and it also has great ergonomics and the variable ring is easy to manipulate, as well as the illumination knob works well. It also has an extra storage for an extra battery in the windage cap. Overall would recommend due to the all the features and clear glass, as well as the customer service in getting me an RMA and getting my scope fixed or a replacement under warranty.
Works very well

This is a pretty decent optic for the price and intended use. I cannot complain at all, after zeroing it I had no troubles hitting 12" steel plates from various ranges, 100 to 500 yards using the reticle. A friend was with me who had never shot past 100 and he hit all the plates first shot. It's easy to use and inexpensive. A negative for is the large horseshoe - it seems needlessly large and is - for me - distracting. It's not enough negative to be worth loosing a star over, thats for sure.
Must Have

If you’re looking for a scope this is it! You will definitely get your moneys worth! This is mounted on my 16” 5.56 carbine and it is perfect! Eye relief is amazing, reticle is bright and clear. You will not regret it.
Great scope for the value

While building my first AR15 I decided to mount this scope instead of a red dot. Very happy with my purchase

Good Glass

Super easy to zero, and has held zero through several hundred rounds so far.
Glass appears clear to the edges.
Reticle is sharp and easy to acquire.
Illumination levels are good, as is the ability to turn it off between two settings.

Great low-priced solution

I put this scope on an AR-15 I built and I'm very happy. I wanted a decent quality scope for shooting medium distance and I didn't want to spend more than $300. This scope was consistently well-reviewed in that category and my experience is well-aligned with the reviews. The scope is well-built, well-engineered, and highly accurate. After sighting in, I could easily group 3/4" at 100 yards. The reticle is super bright and easy to pick up and there's a nice variety of brightness for the illumination. I'm very happy with the purchase. Personally, I would not want to shoot at more than 100 yards with this scope, for the 300 yards advertised would be very fuzzy, at least with my eyes.
