The Primary Arms 1-6x24 second focal plane scope (Gen III) features the exclusive, patented Advanced Combined Sighting System reticle. Bullet drop compensation, wind holds, moving target leads and range estimation are seamlessly integrated into an easy to use, instinctive sighting system that is very fast from 0-300 yards and very accurate from 300-800 yards. The second focal plane design keeps the reticle the same size at all magnifications for quick acquisition at low power and advanced reticle functionality at 6x maximum power. This Scope is protected by the Primary Arms Lifetime Warranty. The flagship Gen II 1-6x24 is a tough act to follow, so Primary Arms worked hard to make incremental but real improvements. The Gen III is 18mm shorter (10.04in long), weighs 1.88 ounces less (16.9 oz. total), and has an additional 10 MOA of internal adjustment compared to the older model. The ACSS® reticle has also been improved, now featuring a chevron center aiming point rather than a dot.
Partial red reticle illumination is provided by a single (included) CR2032 battery, and a spare battery is included inside the windage turret cap. A total of 11 settings take the reticle all the way up to daylight bright. All lenses are fully multicoated for maximum light transmission and the 6063 aluminum body is Type II hard anodized in matte black.

I looked at this scope about a million times before I took the chance and ordered it. Don’t be like me, just order it. This thing is top notch. Crystal clear and reticle is crisp and easy to use. The 11 brightness settings are awesome for being able to adapt to any light level. I love all the features of the ACSS reticle system as well. You won’t regret this scope!
just the thing

the 1-6 is good for me because it it fast and I don't have to contend with the starburst I get with a red dot. I am pleased with the concept and value.
Nice scope

5 stars. This is a super nice scope and worth it. Add a 45-degree site for up close and personal and you got a great combo. BDC is by far the best choice for any 5.65 weapons. Every person should have one. This should be standard issue. My primary arms items are growing daily.
Outstanding optic for the price!

This scope is excellent for the price. On 1 power it’s field of view is quite impressive and the reticle is very large, making it very fast to acquire. The glass is clear with very little distortion around the edges, the reticle is crisp and easy to use, and the chevron aiming point is far better than just a dot. The adjustment knob is very smooth, and feels like it is good quality.
My friends and I have tested the ACSS BDC out to 600 yards with 55gr and it is almost spot on. I am not a fan of BDC reticles because they almost never true up, but this reticle is not only fast, great for range estimation, it truly is spot on with a 16” barrel and 55gr 5.56. It is very impressive and offers unmatched quality and capability for the money. This optic put in an aero precision 30mm SPR aluminum mount is inexpensive and can rival the capability that top tier LPV optics give you.
Great scope

Finally had a chance to take it out today, glass is clear. The illumination is fantastic, within a couple shots was finally hitting the target with every shot. With more practice I’m sure I can get my groupings closer together but I am happy to now be able to hit a head size target from 100 yards every time. Great optic for the money! I paired mine with a Burris scope mount from here too and that also matched up great and holds it snug to my rifle
Great low-priced solution

I put this scope on an AR-15 I built and I'm very happy. I wanted a decent quality scope for shooting medium distance and I didn't want to spend more than $300. This scope was consistently well-reviewed in that category and my experience is well-aligned with the reviews. The scope is well-built, well-engineered, and highly accurate. After sighting in, I could easily group 3/4" at 100 yards. The reticle is super bright and easy to pick up and there's a nice variety of brightness for the illumination. I'm very happy with the purchase. Personally, I would not want to shoot at more than 100 yards with this scope, for the 300 yards advertised would be very fuzzy, at least with my eyes.
Holy crap

Have not been able to use the scope yet, but as soon as I hit the buy now button for the scope it was at my door. This is the second scope from PA . Thanks!!!
Good Glass

Super easy to zero, and has held zero through several hundred rounds so far.
Glass appears clear to the edges.
Reticle is sharp and easy to acquire.
Illumination levels are good, as is the ability to turn it off between two settings.

I'm an old school shooter, this is the first time using optics on a my general rifle. It definitely enhances the experience in quick target i.d.
