Absolutely phenomenal value
by Frank
The glass in this scope is much better than the SLX! It is comparable to the viper gen 2. Which costs 2x as much and nearly twice the weight. The reticle isn't the brightest, but the etched reticle never are. I also prefer an etched reticle over a wire reticle anyway. Overall unbeatable value!
Worth every cent!

Got this on one of the 99$ sales last year and now getting around to writing up. TL;DR: you're getting MORE than what you paid for!
Even at their $179 sale, you're getting a darn good scope. Turrets are just the right amount of stiff with a *decent* audible click to them. The reticle is not advertised as daylight bright, but it's on par, if not a little better than a Vortex SE. The glass makes up for it's shortcomings, though. This has the best glass I've seen in a sub-$200 scope.
Great scope

Definitely bats above its price point decent eye relief . Holds zero . Not sure how it compares to the nova but seems good to me
Nice

Nice looking scope. Good glass. Short body. Very well built. Nice big eyebox. Slightly better eye relief than most in this class.
Great for Sale Price

Overall very good scope. FOV and Illumination lack. Glass is very good, but not Plx-C good. There’s some slight fish eye/edge distortion compared to the Plx-C and new Gen IV Slx Nova. This still bats above its price point when on sale, and is great opportunity for a low price Philippines scope.
Great scope for the money!

Glass is clear and crisp, and the aurora reticle is great! But the illumination could be better. It's not advertised as day-light bright, and rightfully so. However, for low light/indoor applications it does well. Turrets aren't too tight or loose and very audible. Magnification ring is stiff but manageable with the included throw lever. If you can catch this thing on sale, pick one up.. you will not regret it.
Scope body, box, and paperwork all say made in Phillipines.. not sure if that means Glx glass or not, but it is nicer than Plx and Vortex's strike eagle.
