• Drop-in barrel with headspaced extension
• 6.5 Creedmoor chamber
• 5/8x24 threaded muzzle
• Fits the Q The Fix bolt action rifle
• Made in the USA

The Fix was designed around a quick-change barrel system, and this Proof Research barrel arrives with its extension headspaced and ready to install. The carbon fiber wrap over a stainless steel core cuts weight and improves heat dissipation, so the rifle carries lightly without giving up accuracy on long strings of fire.

The 24-inch length with a 1:8 twist maximizes velocity for long-range shooting. The 5/8x24 muzzle threads accept suppressors, brakes, and flash hiders, and a pre-fit barrel lets you change calibers or lengths in minutes instead of sending the rifle to a gunsmith. Proof's carbon fiber barrels are built with match-grade rifling and wrapped in aerospace-grade fiber with a proprietary matrix resin for durability.

Proof Research, based in Columbia Falls, Montana, pioneered carbon fiber wrapped rifle barrels and manufactures its barrels in the USA.
