The Proof Research PR15 6mm ARC PXT AR-15 Barrel gives users exponential twist rifling for longer barrel life and less felt torque. Built for AR-15 builds that run higher-performance cartridges, this intermediate length barrel arrives fully chambered and ready to install.

PXT is a rethink of conventional rifling design and twist progression. By greatly reducing the rifling lead angle, it eases the projectile into the bore, which lowers engraving force and throat erosion. That reduces wear, improves consistency, and creates less felt torque during firing, so users can stay on target more easily. In controlled testing, PXT barrels showed significant increases in barrel life while keeping the accuracy expected from a Proof barrel.
