Proof Research Q Mini Fix Bolt Action Barrel - .22 ARC - Carbon Fiber - 18"

The Proof Research Carbon Fiber Barrel for the Q Mini Fix in .22 ARC gives owners of Q's compact bolt-action rifle a genuinely flat-shooting, high-velocity cartridge option in a lightweight carbon-fiber barrel.

Features:

• 18" barrel chambered in .22 ARC
• aerospace-grade carbon fiber wrapped over a precision stainless steel liner for the complete barrel assembly
• Manufactured specifically to fit the Q Fix bolt-action rifle's proprietary barrel extension
• No gas system involved, since the Fix is a manually operated, straight-pull bolt action
• Cut rifled for genuine accuracy and a long service life
• Threaded muzzle compatible with the Fix's factory muzzle device or a suppressor

Wrapping the barrel in carbon fiber over a thin steel liner trims real weight from the front of the rifle compared to an all-steel barrel of the same length and contour, while the carbon fiber jacket also helps dissipate heat during strings of fire.

.22 ARC shares its parent case with 6mm ARC and 6.5 Grendel, necked down to .224 caliber for a genuinely flat-shooting, high-velocity round that cycles through standard AR-pattern magazines in semi-automatic platforms and delivers strong performance in a bolt gun like the Mini Fix as well.

The Fix by Q is a bolt-action, straight-pull rifle with a short 45-degree bolt throw that accepts AR-pattern magazines, and this Proof Research barrel is manufactured specifically to match the Fix's proprietary barrel extension and headspacing.
