Q Cherry Bomb 5.56 Muzzle Brake - Plan B - 1/2x28

The Q Cherry Bomb is the minimalist muzzle brake that launched Q's Plan B mounting system, giving 5.56 shooters recoil control and a rock-solid taper mount for a quick-detach suppressor in a package of about two ounces.

Features:

• Quickie Fast-Attach muzzle brake and Plan B mount in a single device
• Taper mount shoulder aligns the device with Q barrels and suppressors, and is backward compatible with standard 90-degree shouldered barrels
• 360-degree circumferential ports remove the need for shims or timing
• Machined from 17-4 stainless steel
• Threaded 1/2x28, about 1.64 inches long and adding roughly 0.8 inch to the barrel
• Half-inch socket on the front for easy installation and removal

Because the ports wrap all the way around, there is no "up" to find when you install it, which makes setup quick and repeatable. It works with Q suppressors such as the Thunder Chicken and Trash Panda, and with other suppressors that use the Plan B system.

Combining the brake and the mount into one device keeps the added length to about 0.8 inch and removes a separate mount from the barrel. Q lists the standard 1/2x28 Cherry Bomb as commonly used on 5.56 rifles, with a 7.62-diameter bore.

Q designs suppressors, rifles, and muzzle devices, and the Cherry Bomb is the device that started its Plan B mounting system, which many other makers now build to.
