Choosing the right buffer tube for your AR-15 build is critical. If you plan on building a short carbine style AR with a carbine or mid-length gas system, then this buffer tube is the right one for you. It is the designed to be used with gas systems shorter than rifle length and provides plenty of room to fully cycle the action with a carbine buffer weight. This buffer tube is also compatible with AR-308 style rifles, however a specific buffer weight and recoil spring must be used. No matter what you build, Radical Firearms has the part for you.
Radical Firearms offers law enforcement grade hardware. Crafted with quality materials and covered by their lifetime warranty, Radical Firearms is an outstanding choice for any budget.

Mil-spec Stock fits very loose
by Laura -
I ordered this buffer tube because the one I really wanted was not in stock. The finish looks and feels great, also the quality of the aluminum appears to of good, however my magpul ACS milspec stock fits very loose and rattles. I was expecting a tighter fit so I'm a little disappointed.
Radical Brand--use caution.
by Andrew -
My buffer tube would not fit my Magpul PRS3 stock. After further inspection the part of the buffer tube on the bottom (where the adjustable holes are) is too long. I took the part into my local firearms store to ask about it and they confirmed it had a defect (out of spec). This is my second time buying a Radical product--with poor luck. I will personally buy other brands from now on. Thankfully, Primary Arms has been great so far about managing my concern. Very pleased with this site. (I will go with a rifle length buffer tube this time.)
Not Mil spec

Undersized and the worst is that the bottom section is way off so far forward that PRS or any stock that uses the forward shoulder to lock are impossible to install without cutting a relief in it
