The Rearden Calico is a flash hider with a tapered 1x16 LH mounting interface and a 13.5x1 LH thread pitch, designed for use with 1x16 LH, CAT, and TSFX suppressor adapters. This flash hider is not Atlas or Plan B compatible.
The Calico threads onto 13.5x1 LH muzzle threads and provides a tapered interface for 1x16 LH compatible suppressor adapters. The 13.5x1 LH thread pitch is commonly used on AK-pattern rifles, certain imported firearms, and specific AR-platform barrels threaded in the metric left-hand pattern.
The flash hider is constructed from stainless steel with a nitride finish for corrosion resistance and durability. The Calico can be used for pin and weld applications on a 14.5-inch barrel with a .030-inch shim or accuwasher to reach the 16-inch non-NFA rifle minimum length.
The Calico is compatible with 1x16 LH, CAT, and TSFX suppressor adapters only. It does not work with Atlas or Plan B mounting systems. Shooters running Atlas or Plan B systems should select a different Rearden muzzle device designed for those interfaces.
The tapered mounting interface provides a repeatable, concentric suppressor alignment when paired with compatible adapters.
The Calico in 13.5x1 LH suits shooters who run 1x16 LH compatible suppressor systems and want a flash hider that serves as both a standalone muzzle device and a suppressor mounting point with pin-and-weld capability.
