Rock Island took the classic design of the 1911 and scaled it down for use with 22 Magnum creating the XT22 series of semi automatic handguns. The Rock Island XT22 features a delayed blowback action for unrivaled reliability in a semi-auto rimfire pistol. The action itself is is located in the slide allowing the barrel to be fixed in place for extreme accuracy. Additionally, the barrel features a heavy profile and the single action trigger comes in at 4-6 lbs. with an adjustable overtravel stop perfect for competition use. The grip has that classic 1911 feel with a vertical grip angle, rubberized grip panels, and an extended beavertail safety. This model features a flat dark earth finish.
