While the design of a bolt carrier group hasn't changed much since the M16 was adopted was adopted way back in 1967, machining precision, materials, and finishes have all been improved over the last several decades. Rosco Manufacturing has taken the basic design laid down by Stoner and matched it up with feed back from military, law enforcement, and civilian shooters alike to produce their complete bolt carrier group. Built to higher than MIL-SPEC standards, each Rosco BCG has been shot peened to normalize and stress relieve the steel with a properly staked gas key that will not come loose under the harshest of uses. The bolt assembly itself has been magnetic particle inspected and equipped with a upgraded extractor that maximize your reliability. The entire assembly has been treated with a corrosion resistant, low friction melonite finish for a lifetime of smooth, reliable service you can count on.
