Absolutely great.

This barrel is exactly what I was looking for. Great quality, heavier profile, perfect length for my SBR.

I've only fired about 100 rounds through it thus far but accuracy was exactly what I expected. The patrol gas system works awesome both loud and suppressed.

Amazing

Have right at 150 rounds through it. Love the new gas length. Super soft shooting. All suppressed. Have only been able to take it to 50 yards because of the range I use. Rosco has something with these new barrels.

Great low cost high value barrel!

Waited a little bit before writing a review of this barrel, right now I've got just under 1600 rounds through it and its definitely performed well against the plethora of other high quality 11.5 barrels I've amassed over the years. The gradual tapered profile balances my current rifle setup perfectly and lends to the overall system maneuvering and pointing quickly for me. Shooting 99% suppressed, I personally have had 0 issues so far (but I run SA adjustable gas blocks and Griffin SOB's on all my builds now and tune them to run optimized suppressed and unsuppressed). I can attest the barrel performs excellent out to 300yds at this length with FED/AE 223 75g TMJ and M855, repeatable hits on 18" steel gongs (and even a few sporting clays) at 300yds using a 1-8 lpvo were a piece of cake. Rosco makes some really great value high quality barrels (this is my 4th from them) and I will continue to purchase them as long as the quality remains the same.

Make your Knights SR-15 11.5

I have built so many AR’s and used Faxon, ballistic advantage, BCM, and other barrels. They’re all great but Roscoe barrels have also been a solid contender in terms of value, durability, innovation.
I have this on a build with a VLTOR A5 and I really enjoy how soft and reliable this gun has been so far. I’ve had no issues and for reference Sage Dynamics, Cobalt Kienctics/GBRS, Kinetic Consulting, and School of the American Rifle have partnered/projects/inspected Roscoe and they have a great reputation. Also they are the only one making a barrel with an alternative gas system for 11.5 that’s not carbine length(besides Knights) I know noveskee has 11.5 mid-length but time will tell if shows promise.
Can you buy a criterion barrel, BCM, XYZ barrel? Yes you totally can, but if budget is any consideration with no sacrifice to quality, I wouldn’t hesitate to build another rifle with a roscoe barrel.

Great barrel

I’m thoroughly impressed. I wasn’t expecting much from this barrel, but I was astonished by the accuracy. I haven’t chrono’d it yet, so I can’t speak to the velocity.
