Ruger American Rifle 17 HMR Bolt Action Rimfire Rifle - 16.1" - Satin Blued - 1x 9rd Mag

The Ruger American Rifle in 17 HMR pairs a fast, flat-shooting rimfire cartridge with an adjustable stock and a user-tunable trigger, giving small game and varmint hunters a genuinely precise rimfire bolt gun. Built for the field, this rifle uses Ruger's Power Bedding system to keep the barrel free-floated for consistent accuracy.

Features:

• Ruger Marksman Adjustable trigger, user-adjustable 3-5 lbs
• Patented Power Bedding integral bedding block system
• Interchangeable, adjustable length of pull stock module
• Detachable 9-round rotary magazine, also accepts BX-15 magazine
• 60-degree bolt throw for ample scope clearance
• Factory-installed, one-piece Picatinny scope base

The stock module can be swapped in seconds by removing the rear sling swivel stud, letting shooters switch between the standard module and a high-comb version better suited to scoped shooting, with compact modules available separately for smaller-statured shooters. A threaded predator barrel with a factory-installed thread protector is cold hammer-forged for accuracy, and the receiver-mounted bolt release lets the bolt be removed without pulling the trigger, an unusual safety feature among rimfire bolt guns. The extended magazine release makes swapping the flush-mounted, 9-round rotary magazine quick and simple in the field.

Ruger has manufactured bolt-action rifles in the USA for decades, and the American Rifle platform reflects the company's latest refinements to that design. Every American Rifle is built to the same standard Ruger applies across its hunting rifle lineup.
