At 9.4 ounces unloaded and 0.82 inches wide, the LCP fits in a pocket holster, a purse, or a waistband without printing or discomfort. The hammer is recessed within the slide to eliminate snagging on clothing during the draw. Fixed front and rear sights are integral to the slide for a clean, snag-free profile. The checkered grip frame provides a secure purchase despite the compact footprint, and the included finger grip extension floorplate can be attached to the magazine for a fuller, more comfortable grip position — particularly useful for shooters with larger hands. No external manual safety keeps the manual of arms simple and consistent for a defensive pistol in this class.
