This Ruger Mark IV also has a contoured ejection port and easy to grasp bolt ears that guarantee the shooter or operator reliable operation shot after shot, and the sighting system features a drilled and tapped receiver which can accommodate most Weaver or Picatinny style rails for mounting your favorite optical system.The magazine release of the Ruger MKIV is conveniently located on the left side of the frame and is easy to operate even in dynamic situations by dropping free from the magazine housing for a rapid reload. In addition, the magazine disconnect prevents accidental discharge when the magazine has been removed. Complete with an ambidextrously operated safety, Ruger has seen fit to include a washer so you can convert to left side only operation.
