The Ruger RXM combines a removable stainless steel Fire Control Insert with an interchangeable Magpul Enhanced Handgun Grip, precision-rifled barrel, FNC nitride slide, and a flat-faced trigger in a platform designed from the ground up for customization with Gen 3-compatible components and off-the-shelf accessories.

The Ruger RXM is a 9mm striker-fired pistol jointly developed by Ruger and Magpul, featuring a removable stainless steel Fire Control Insert, interchangeable Magpul Enhanced Handgun Grip, factory-installed Aimpoint COA red dot, co-witness tritium front night sight, 4-inch precision-rifled barrel, and FNC nitride slide finish, shipping with two 15-round magazines.

Four features define the RXM's customization and carry advantage. The removable stainless steel Fire Control Insert (FCI) is the serialized component of the RXM, sitting inside the interchangeable Magpul EHG — meaning the grip frame can be swapped for any future Magpul EHG color or configuration without changing the serialized component, a forward-looking design that allows platform updates as new grip options become available. The Magpul EHG provides TSP texture at 3/4 scale, flared magazine well, trigger guard undercut, beavertail, textured indexing pads, and a universal accessory rail — premium features developed by Magpul from their established AR-15 grip expertise applied to a striker-fired pistol. The co-witness tritium front night sight provides a functional iron sight backup through the Aimpoint COA's window, ensuring the pistol is viable in any condition where the optic's battery is depleted.
