This versatile and highly capable bolt action rifle is chambered in .22-250 Remington and is ideal for hunting and precision shooting. The Savage Axis 2 is a lightweight bolt action rifle with an ergonomic synthetic green stock. This short action rifle features a 22-inch non-threaded matte blued barrel with a 1 in 12 rate of twist, top tang safety, and user-adjustable AccuTrigger. It is drilled and tapped to accept optics and includes integral sling swivel studs as well as a recoil taming rubber buttpad.
