The Scalarworks PEAK/01 Fixed Rear Sight solves the sight-radius crowding many hunters and competitors run into on modern AR-15s. Most traditional iron sights are designed for the M16A2's 20-inch sight radius, but the shorter roughly 15-inch radius common on today's rifles leaves a crowded sight picture -- Scalarworks redesigned every part of the A2-style sight to fix that.

Machined from 7075-T6 aerospace-grade aluminum and blended with 4140H steel hardware, this sight delivers the rigidity and rugged durability needed for field use. A stunning 46 MOA windage adjustment range and two apertures, one for precise distance work and one for close-range acquisition, give shooters flexibility in the field. The completely flat-machined aperture plates present a black silhouette with almost no highlighting bias, helping eliminate misleading target views.
