IMHO, this is a required equipment for left-handed shooting, along with a ambidextrous mag release. Allows the shooter to replicate manual of arms for mag change - trigger hand/support hand operations, allowing trigger finger to release bolt. I have these on all 5 AR’s. Perfect!

This is a nice upgrade to the standard mag catch. It's pretty solid and has a nice, large dimpled surface to make sending the bolt forward a little easier. It's helpful when reloading under stress to not have to find that tiny button. Just slap the side of the rifle and you're up and running. Installs same as any other and adds a custom look as well.

The quality and fit is superb, however this is an upgrade, not a component; you need to purchase the spring and plunger seperate.

For me it’s a huge upgrade over the Mil-spec bolt catch being oversized with textured feedback it makes it easier to manipulate with gloves or in the dark. People upgrade a lot of stuff most without any advantage to function. For those who love form and function this is necessary for you. Seekins makes High functioning quality bolt catch.
