Effective brass catcher without the straps

by -

Nice little brass catcher, easily adjustable and slides off when not in use leaving the mount attached to the rail. It even has a zipper in the bottom to empty without removal. However it does get in the way of my 45 degree offset backup sights, but not too worried about that in normal use.

Best Brass Catcher I've Used

Cost a little more than the common velcro attached bags (and have used a number of those for years) but worth every penny. Bought mine before Christmas while on sale. Took a chance hoping it was a good product. Have used on the range 5 or 6 times. Mounted on a 458 SOCOM upper, zero fte issues. Took only a few minutes to get mechanical attachment placed on the rail and it's just worked as designed ever since. Well designed and I think it will hold up. On a side note, I don't know if SME offers extra mechanical attachments but I would be interested to be able to use the bag on other uppers by simply snapping in place. Don't like letting brass in calibers like .458, 6.5 Grendel, 7.62x39 or 300 AAC get away from me. Give the SME Brass Catcher 10 stars if I could.
