The P226 pairs an alloy frame and a stainless steel slide with the traditional double-action/single-action trigger that has defined the platform for decades, and it feeds from double-stack magazines. Its balance and ergonomics make a full-size pistol that is easy to handle.
SIG offers the P226 in several versions, including the Elite with a short reset trigger and an optic-ready slide, the MK25 with an Anchor engraving, a 40th Anniversary edition, a 2-Tone Bronze Freedom edition, a California-compliant Flat Dark Earth version, and the Legion in single-action and DA/SA versions, with 10 and 15-round magazines. The features above list what this version includes.
SIG Sauer is a New Hampshire-based firearms manufacturer whose pistols serve military, law enforcement, and civilian shooters worldwide.
