The X-Series has all-metal construction, an undercut trigger guard, a 1913 accessory rail, and enhanced slide serrations, and it is compatible with X-Five series parts. A match grade bull barrel with a target crown is engineered for accuracy, durability, and recoil control, and the optic-ready slide accepts a red dot without sourcing a separate mount.

SIG offers the X-Series with a 4.4-inch barrel (P226X) or a 3.8-inch barrel (P226-XCarry), with a double/single-action AX2 trigger or a single-action-only AX1 trigger, in Legion Gray and other finishes, with 10-round and 18-round magazines, and with a factory-mounted ROMEO-X or Romeo-X Pro on some.
