not a replacement for gloves

Pros: lightweight, grippy, and inexpensive
Cons: did not fit flush mounted near my VFG and the screws get so hot after a couple hundred rounds that they will burn your hands just the same as a bare handguard
I will probably remove and seek a different solution; in the interim, heat resistant tape can cover the screws
