Choosing a muzzle device on a custom AR-10 usually means compromising somewhere. SLR positions the BCF as a way around that, pairing the top-port compensation of its Synergy comp with the side venting of a traditional brake and a flash-reducing front end.

Because the dimpled expansion ports sit on top, time the device during installation so they end up at the top of the barrel. At about 2.62 inches long it adds noticeable length, so check your handguard and optic clearance on shorter builds.
