Smith & Wesson M&P15 AXE 5.56 AR Pistol - 11.5" - 1x 30rd Mag

The Smith & Wesson M&P15 AXE delivers a suppressor-optimized AR pistol built around Gemtech's GVAC gas venting system. Built for shooters who run a can regularly, this 5.56 rifle-style pistol delivers reduced blowback and cleaner suppressed performance than a standard AR platform.

Features:

• 11.5-inch barrel configured as a rifle-style pistol
• Gemtech GVAC (Gas Venting and Compensating) system for suppressor optimization
• Carpenter 158 bolt with an 8620 steel carrier and chromed firing pin
• Free-float M-LOK handguard for accessory mounting
• Ships with one 30-round magazine

The AXE series was built specifically around suppressed shooting, and the Gemtech GVAC system is the centerpiece of that design: it vents excess gas away from the shooter's face before it can blow back through the ejection port, a common complaint when running a suppressor on a standard AR gas system. Internally, the Carpenter 158 bolt and 8620 steel carrier are chosen specifically for their durability under the increased pressure and heat that come with suppressed, high-round-count use.

Configured as an 11.5-inch AR pistol rather than a stocked rifle, this M&P15 AXE gives shooters a compact, suppressor-ready platform without the NFA registration required for a comparable short-barreled rifle, provided it's built and used according to applicable regulations for pistol-braced firearms.

Smith & Wesson has manufactured firearms in the United States since 1852, and its M&P and revolver lines carry that manufacturing heritage into modern carry, duty, and field applications.
