The Smith & Wesson M&P9 M2.0 OR Compact Handgun is a 9mm firearm with a 4-inch barrel, finished in Flat Dark Earth. It is designed to be optics-ready and comes with night sights but no thumb safety. This model is part of the M&P® M2.0™ series, the second generation of Smith & Wesson's polymer handguns, featuring significant upgrades in trigger design, grip texture, and customizable palm swell inserts to fit a variety of users.

The M&P M2.0 series includes a low barrel bore axis and an optimal 18-degree grip angle, ensuring a natural point of aim and reduced muzzle rise for quicker target reacquisition. The M2.0 flat face trigger offers consistent finger placement for more accurate and repeatable shooting, while the enhanced grip texture helps manage recoil, maintain a firm grip, and provide comfort when carrying concealed.
This handgun features a slide cut for optics, a Picatinny-style rail for accessory attachment, forward slide serrations for improved slide manipulation, and a 1 in 10" twist M&P® M2.0™ barrel for precise shooting. The extended rigid embedded stainless steel chassis reduces flex and torque when firing, enhancing overall durability and performance.
For ease of maintenance, the M&P M2.0 series includes Smith & Wesson’s patented take-down lever and sear deactivation systems, allowing for disassembly without pulling the trigger. The package includes seven mounting plates and four interchangeable palm swell grip inserts (S, M, ML, L) to ensure an optimal hand fit and trigger reach.
