The Smith & Wesson M&P 15-22 Sport .22LR Rifle is a versatile and reliable modern sporting rifle. The rifle is chambered in 22LR for a wide variety of recreational and sport shooting applications. It boasts a 10-inch M&P slim handguard with MAGPUL M-LOK offering increased ergonomics, maximum airflow and modularity for optimal performance and durability. The handguard provides 2-inch M-LOK picatinny-style rail panel for sights, optics and accessories. The upper receiver is chambered in 22LR with a 16-inch 4140 steel barrel and features MAGPUL MBUS folding sights for easy target acquisition. The receiver is hammer forged from aluminum with a type III hard coat providing the strength and toughness to withstand the most severe abuse and provide maximum corrosion resistance. It features a 6-position CAR stock, shell deflector and is California, Colorado and Maryland compliant.
