Vast Improvement

I updated a coworker’s panic buy from a few years ago that was languishing in his gun safe by changing some physical and mechanical characteristics. One was removing the Piccatinny gas block for a low profile and adding this excellent hand guard. SOLGW and another brand that rhymes with rev are all I use and this was a blemished (where?) steal that made my buddy much happier with his rifle. Ergonomics, a slim profile, a great, solid free float and heat dissipation make this a superior option to wannabes and lookalikes.

Up front, wasn't really sure what to expect from a 'blem', never bought one before but if it's blemished, I can't find it. Packaging is a plastic bag with all the parts and the wrench so for the amount PA is asking, I consider this a good deal. As far as the product itself, SOLGW makes well built and well designed products, this is no exception. It's also probably got the thickest walls of any MLOK handguard I've used, which I consider a plus. I know the EXO is supposed to be entry level but this is definitely still for hard use. I would pay full price for this if it wasn't on sale.
