The Sons of Liberty Gun Works M4-EXO3 5.56 NATO barreled upper delivers a steel barrel nut, 7-sided M-LOK slots, anti-rotation tabs, and a V2 4140 steel gas block in a mil-spec 7075-T6 upper receiver. No BCG or charging handle included.

The Sons of Liberty Gun Works M4-EXO3 5.56 NATO Barreled Upper is a 14.5-inch 5.56 NATO mil-spec AR-15 barreled upper receiver featuring the 3rd Gen EXO3 13-inch M-LOK handguard with steel barrel nut, SOLGW Liberty Fighting Barrel, V2 4140 steel gas block, and pinned-and-welded ASR flash hider. BCG and charging handle not included.

Four specifications define this upper's duty-grade quality. The 3rd Gen EXO3 rail uses a steel barrel nut rather than aluminum for a more rigid, durable barrel nut interface that resists the loosening that aluminum barrel nuts can exhibit over sustained firing and accessory loading — a meaningful improvement for a duty handguard carrying lights, lasers, and other mission-critical equipment. Seven-sided M-LOK slots with anti-rotation tabs provide direct accessory mounting with positive registration, preventing the rotation that standard M-LOK slots allow when accessories are subjected to lateral force. The V2 gas block is machined from 4140 steel with an appropriately sized gas port and .750-inch journal for an efficient, leak-free gas seal at the barrel. The Liberty Fighting Barrel with DLC-coated M4 feed ramp extension and T-Mark engraved mil-spec 7075-T6 upper receiver complete a barreled upper assembly built to SOLGW's duty-rifle standards.
