Three qualities define this barrel's suitability as a fighting rifle foundation. 41v50 chrome moly steel provides the structural integrity and heat resistance required for sustained 5.56 NATO fire, handling the pressure and thermal demands of a standard-length fighting rifle without the wear concerns associated with lower-grade steel.
