The round that law enforcement has trusted for decades — in a 50-count box for carry training and defensive use. Speer Gold Dot 9mm Luger 115gr combines Uni-Cor electrochemical bonding with a pressure-formed lead core to create a bullet that expands consistently through the full range of barriers while retaining near-100% weight for penetration to critical depths.
Speer Gold Dot 9mm Luger 115gr is a self-defense and duty pistol cartridge featuring a structural-plated, pressure-formed core bonded to a uniform jacket one atom at a time for virtually eliminated jacket separation, loaded with nickel-plated brass and sealed primers.
Three features define Gold Dot's benchmark defensive performance. Uni-Cor bonding bonds the lead core to the jacket electrochemically — atom by atom — rather than through mechanical methods that leave separation points under barrier penetration stress. This virtually eliminates core-jacket separation on impact, ensuring the bullet retains its mass and continues penetrating to the depths required for defensive effectiveness after barrier material has been contacted. The Gold Dot hollow-point design expands consistently across the full range of common barriers — clothing, drywall, glass, sheet metal — without the petal loss and over-expansion that bonded bullets with inconsistent plating geometry exhibit. Nickel-plated brass cases with sealed primers resist corrosion during extended carry and provide reliable ignition in humid or adverse conditions.
Compatible with all 9mm Luger semi-automatic pistols. Muzzle velocity: 1,210 fps.
115-grain Gold Dot hollow point. Nickel-plated brass, sealed primer. 1,210 fps. 50 rounds per box.
The standard for duty and defensive carry use in 9mm Luger where barrier-blind expansion and weight retention are the non-negotiable performance requirements.
By Speer. 50 rounds per box.
